The hilly site was where Buddha at the age of 41, left the earth and ascended into Trayastrimsa Heaven to visit his mother, Queen Mayadevi who passed away 7 days after Buddha was born. Lord Buddha taught his mother Abhidharma for three months in the heaven and descended to earth at Sankassa.
It was a misty morning when we pay homage to this sacred site.
The locals addressed this place as the private airport of Buddha.
Paying great homage to the remains at where Buddha meditated and ascended into Trayastrimsa Heaven.
