After visiting multiple Halls at the main ground of Jingo-ji temple, we followed a side path to the observation point of Kinun-tei cliffs and experienced its unique custom of damping the misfortunes by throwing a small clay disc into the valley.
It was indeed a scenic walk way in fall.
The simple and modest styled Jizo-in amidst in a wooded natural ground is as if worlds away, absolutely by itself. Gorgeous!
The spirit of Jizo-in serene garden was aroused in fall when all its maples turned into the hue of red and shaded the surroundings into a joyful color.
The famous Kinun-kei cliffs that overlook Kiyotaki River and the magnificent view of Kinun Valley.
The renowned Kinun Valley where people practice for Kawarake-nage custom, throwing a clay disc to ward off misfortunes. Small clay round plates with inscription could be obtained at the site of Jizo-in Garden.
