We board from Gyeongju Rail Station and had a wonderful train journey along the country road towards central west of the nation. We were the only foreigner in the train that day. Though facing hard problem and difficulty in communication, we received many assistance from local women like her and finally had a correct information and got to the right destination. .
Korea is one of the most mountainous regions in the world. Beside the breathtaking landscapes of scenic hills and valleys, the bulk of agricultural crops especially rice are widely grown along the southern and western coasts where the mountains descend gradually to the plains.

In Korea, rice production are not specified and restricted to only rural areas. Rice farms are at the foot of the mountains, along the river, beneath the modern high buildings and every piece of possible land area.
