The procession of Joseon Emperor and royal family with officiants appearing at the airport surprised all foreign visitors.
They wore traditional royal Hanbok with hair set, walked elegantly just in front of all foreigners, reminding us that we were in Korea, present and in the past.

Cabbage and traditional Korean chili paste are the main ingredients to prepare Kimchi.
Wash the cabbage and cut into 4 portions. Spread coarse salt over each layer of leaves and season it for 10-15 minutes then only soak the cabbage in salt water for 6 hours. Cabbage have to be overturned several times within soaking hour before taking out to wash and drain dried on the sieve for 2-3 hours till all water evaporated. Mix the chili paste with pear juice, radish, carrot, onion, celery, garlic, ginger and fish paste and spread the mixture over every piece of leaf and leave it for fermentation.

Tteok Museum of the college exhibits 50 different kinds of rice cake samples made and utensils used in the preparation, including those traditionally required in the ceremonies and festivals, like new year, wedding, birth or funeral and other kind of gatherings.
Rice cake are classified into several kinds basing on preparing methods, such as steaming, pounding, frying or boiling. Rice cake is part and parcel of Korean's daily life since it developed from early period of Three Kingdom. Ingredient has been extended from only rice to various cereals.

The busy and bustling Seafood market at Daepohang Port where supplies of dried and raw seafood are offered along the wet stores and shops.
A corner of the market where workers, mainly women, are sorting and cleaning all the seafood unloaded directly up from the boats.
All types of seafood, you name it and they have it and are all fresh from the sea, including the prawn, urchin, octopus, abalone etc., all alive.
You may have them tempura or sashimi! All stores are ever ready to serve you.
Phoenix Park is a vast ski paradise situated at west Pyongchang-kun at Gangwon-do Province. There are 21 slopes accomplished with one gondola and 8 lifts. Herb Nara Farm exhibits some of its herbs at the hall of the hotel, artistically and beautifully arranged and displayed. Should we have extra time, we definitely would go and visit his farm at Odaesan National Park.
