Halong Bay, located in Quang ninh Province of Vietnam, about 170km east of Hanoi is a popular travel destination in Asia. Being often considered as one of the world's most beautiful bay, it was recognized by Unesco in year 1994 and 2000 as a world heritage site for its remarkable landscape and geomorphology. And last year it was also selected and listed as one of the new 7 wonders of nature.

It takes nearly 4 hours drive in a tourist van or mini bus for the visitors to reach Halong Bay from Hanoi City. There are 300 tourists a day aboard the 200 junks in Halong Bay to go around its 1969 outcrops of rock spreading over the site.
