Annapurna is a section of Himalaya Ranges including the 8091 meters high Annapurna I and 13 additional peaks over 7000 meters in height and 16 more than 6000 meters high peaks



Machhapuchhre Range commonly known as Fish Tail is the closest to Pokhara city. It is 6993 meter in height.



Annapurna is usually interpreted as Goddess of harvests as in Sanskrit, it literally means full of food. It is highly respected in Hinduism as a universal Goddess.





Annapurna II measures 7937 meters, Annapurna III measures 7555 meters and Annapurna IV measures 7525 meters in height.
